Entry 1 : Just A Speach From Old Major, It Could Change One's Mindset

Dear Diary,

     What a night! I had just come back from the meeting Old Major had called in the morning. This meeting was rather unusual as Old Major had talked about his strange dream he had the previous night. Well, here's what the meeting was about:
     The atmosphere in the big barn was filled with excitement, eagerness and enthusiasm! The chickens fluttered and the sheep bleated. Everyone was ready to lose an hour of sleep just to hear great Old Major's speech. Once everyone was settled in and ready, Old Major had started by telling how his life was coming to an end.
     Getting to the point, Old Major had pointed out that the life of every animal is always short, miserable, uncomfortable and ever since the day we were born, it was, WORK, WORK and MORE WORK. He then revealed the our main problem was MAN. If we, animals, remove men from our life, hunger and overwork would be abolished FOREVER! (we will achieve that!!) He had also said "Man is the only creature that consumes without producing" I really agree with Old Major!
     REBELLION! Getting rid of man is the key to FREEDOM! Old Major had mentioned when the rebellion comes, there would be freedom, we could become rich and free overnight! There would be prosperity, no more slavery and misery! Life would be less stressed and laborious! I am looking forward to that day of freedom!
     I feel very glad upon hearing this! Knowing that there would be freedom from the tyranny of human and no more slavery! I'm thinking every animal who heard this, is now rejoicing and is over the moon! Also mentioning the atmosphere in the barn, once Old Major had announced this 'prophecy', every animal gave joyous neighs, bleats, clucking moos', any sound an animal could make!!
     Seeing the enthusiasm of my comrades, I am VERY sure that this Rebellion would come soon. It could be anytime in our lives and I'm very sure any animal would be looking forward to that very day! Even me!
     Not forgetting one thing I have learnt after this meeting was this wonderful hymn, "Beasts Of England"! Singing this hymn just brings a huge bucket of hope for the Rebellion to come very soon!
     I think I should really get some sleep, tomorrow is going to be another long day of work! Goodnight!
